Tried again after yesterday's disaster.

More lugging of kit to the water. It was blowing 5.0 weather, I was assured it would increase as the day progressed.

Rigged up the 5.0 & wave board, had 'The Faff' getting it all to the water. Went out & schlogged sadly along, no sign of taking off...

Schlogged back in, went & got the Carve, tried that with the 5.0 (as it was gonna pick up, right?).

Nope!

Derig the 5.0 (only brought enough components for 1 sail at a time), go get the 6.8 from the tent, rig the 6.8... 2 hours after starting out SUCCESS!!

So by 15h00 I'd got it sussed, and no the wind didn't pick up. Quite the opposite, but I had a good 2-3 hours.

STILL getting probs with the Starboard footstraps, at one point the whole board gybed 180 degrees and the sail flipped but I'd fallen off as per and my front foot was still wedged into the strap & twisted round. OUCH! There had been other problems before then. And those DAMNED Maui Magic lines kept giving out. My fault for not replacing them when I could have done in the Gorge.

So it was good... but not that good!

Decided to leave Nitnat early and go back to Hood River on Sunday.
